iman-bad to the bone

A light at the end of the tunnel

Well, folks I know it's been a while since I've done everything with my websites. Apathy has a way of doing that, but thanks to the fine folks at NaNo WriMo for running Camp NaNo, the rough draft next VS ep has been completed.

I'm hoping to get it up and running before I head off to D*Con, but no promises. I'd much rather release an excellent ep than a mediocre one, so I will once again request your patience, but with the knowledge that the story is written, just needs editing and tightening... oh and coding, of course.

Only 13 or so more eps to go to finish the series. :D

So, anyone interested in weekly rewatches?

Yes, I'm trying to encourage some enthusiasm in this fandom.  Shoot, I'm still hopelessly obsessed after a decade, so I'm certain others are as well.

So, I was thinking we might all get together and watch eps and chat about them. A fair number of us have at least season 1 on DVD and Hulu has both seasons available for free, so there's no real excuse not to do so.

You can reply here, or over at the I-Man VS FB page.

Remember, June 9th is the anniversary of the airing of the Pilot.  Yes, I think that deserves celebrating.

Anyone for reruns?

So, what with the whole ereader craze going on (I am guilty of owning a nook), I've converted the VS3, all 22 eps, into epubs (nook specific, but they should work on others), for anyone interested in copies.

If you want a different format, including the generic PDF, just let me know and I'll get them converted ASAP.

I have not yet put them anywhere except for the VS site, I wanted to gauge interest first.

Drop me a line here or at my LJ email.

and we're back... mostly

The files have been migrated and those that went AWOL have been uploaded.  The MySQL databases are toast the the Quicksilver Library is essentially dead, dead, dead.  Assorted other links are also offline, but the main site is up and running again.  www.invisiblemanvs.net.

Any questions?  Feel free to drop me a line.

some news regarding the VS site

Due to the assholiness of GISOL invisiblemanvs.com is GONE.  However, the new domain name is now invisiblemanvs.net.  Yes, we're still alive, but a tad glitchy.  I need to dig through the coding and figure up what I need to fix to get us back and running up to par.

Until then please feel free to visit the back-up site at http://homepage.mac.com/axzanier/imanvs/index.html .

I'll be hosting the back-up indefinitely, and on those rare occasions there's an update to one, I will update both.

So do we have any I-Man fans still out there?

We're back!

New home address, but back just the same.

After much fighting with our domain name holder Gisol (never, ever use these guys, they suck monkey chunks, are liars, and essentially stole a wad load of money from our site mom.  Yes, we're pissed.), we abandoned ship and got ourselves a new domain name - invisiblemanvs.net.

I managed to everything back up and running including the Quicksilver Library, the Gallery and the message board.  Some of the edits I made when I created the back-up are missing (different versions of the site and all), but we're back just the same.

We hope you drop by to see us.

site update 05/19/2009

Alright, my friends.  I may be working slowly, but I'm getting there.

I've unlinked the Library button, since it doesn't exactly go anywhere any more.

I've added a text link to the rebuilt I-Man pages that I rescued from SciFi way back when.  Enjoy the stroll down memory lane.  No, they are not a perfect copy, but better than nothing, I s'pose.

I fear many of the links on the actual links page are dead due to time and entropy.  That'll be my next task.  Sorting through those and eliminating the deadwood.

Any questions please feel free to contact us.

We're back-ish

After some serious stoopids involving the domain holder (so don't ask, we're ready to sue, it's that bad) we have a back-up version of the VS site back online.

Yes, there are broken links everywhere and some things, such as the Library and Message board, may never return, but the VS itself is back.

You can find it here.

I know it's been over a year, but Real Life took some major hits on many of our members, and while it may be at a snail's pace, we are still working on the series.

Uh, yes, we are invisible

Sorry folks, we are having a slight hiccup between the owner of our domain name (Gisol) and our site host (Bluehost), which has caused the site to vanish into the ether(net).

Our proud owner (Suz), is working on the problem as we speak and we hope to be back up and running ASAP.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
